Memoirs of a Goldfish
With his bowl to himself and his normal routine, Goldfish loves his life, until one day… intruders arrive and it looks like things will never be the same. A bubbler, a grime-eating snail named Mervin, a pair of guppies, Cha-Cha (an angel fish from Hollywood), and a crabby crab named Fred invade his personal space and bowl.
He wants all of them gone and to go back to his simple, quiet life, and “with a whoosh, and a splash, and a clank, and a plunge,” he gets his wish and ends up in a very tiny bowl of clear, pure water. But with some time to himself, he rethinks the benefits and consequences of a life of solitude, and decides that just maybe being part of a big family isn’t so bad.
